Why did you choose to work for us?
I didn’t choose, Glendola Leisure bought over Angels Share.

Tell us about your story so far?
I’ve not noticed a big change at Angels Share since Glendola took over, which I like. There has been a few more training days for various things which have seemed to help the staff which is obviously good.

What do you get up to on a typical day/shift?
Depends on the shift, you’re always prepping stuff for later on in the day. You might be setting up for breakfast which includes more than a usual floor shift if you’re on for lunch or dinner.

What do you like most about working here?
Angels Share is very much a family, we are a team and it is clear we are always helping one another to give our customers the best experience of our venue.

What’s been your biggest achievement so far?
I got promoted to Floor Supervisor after working at Angels Share for around a year and a half, I am very much enjoying the responsibility. I believe I have excelled in my hospitality skills from working at Angels Share in various ways from dealing with customers to prioritising the right tasks above others to my organisational skills.

What makes someone successful here?
What makes someone successful is being able to do your job without feeling like it’s an effort. When a customer leaves the venue and you know that they’ve enjoyed their experience and you have also enjoyed serving them, that’s when I feel successful.

Tell us about the training and development…
I have only attended the wine training which was very extensive and I learned a lot. I found it hard as I really dislike wine but it was still helpful.

What is it really like to work here?
I really enjoy it, working with the people I work with makes it all the better.

What do you think makes us unique as an employer?
Glendola seems to have a range of different venues over the country which cater for most types of customers.

If you could invite anyone to a dinner party, which 4 people would you choose?
Morgan Freeman, Johnny Depp, my sister and Beyonce.

What would be your ideal holiday destination and why?
I have not been to a lot of different places but I really enjoy the South of France. I love skiing in the Pyrenees there as it can have great skiing conditions up the mountains but when you come down from them it’s like Summer.
